My Summer Reading List

Hello Dear Bloggers!

I am so excited that spring has finally arrived in my part of the world after a huge snowstorm! UGH! So much snow….way to much snow…it made me want to cry. I usually like snow but I was ready to be done this year.
However, since I’ve already been hit with 80 degrees. I figured it was time to roll out the summer reading list. I have a busy summer so I don’t have a ton
of books on my list but I have a few I can’t wait to get to!

Fiction
Promise’s Prayer
By Erika Mathews
I purchased this book over Christmas for myself but have yet had a chance to sit down and enjoy it. But at last it is by my bed and hopefully shall be picked up and read soon.

Reread
Only A Novel
By Amy Dashwood.
This! Without a doubt is one of my favorite books to read ever!!! I laugh, I cry…I reread it! (that right there is shocking!) But this is a book you should pick up if you want something to warm your heart deep down inside, it’s like the perfect cup of tea for your soul.

Non-fiction
Wrestling Prayer
Eric and Leslie Ludy
I’ve been hungering for a richer prayer life! So this is on my list of books to read, and perhaps reread as I seek God’s face and hunger for His call. I have a few other books also by the Ludy’s on my list to read, they include:
It Takes a Gentleman and a Lady
When God Writes Your Love Story
Also, may I recommend Meet Mr. Smith I HAVE LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED EVERY WORD OF THIS BOOK…go read it!!!!

Korean Interest
Dear Leader
By Jang- Jin-Sung
Another North Korean escapee story, told from an elite person something I haven’t gotten to read much of. I’ve read mostly common peoples escapes.

My first 500 Korean Words
By Talk To Me In Korean
I WILL LEARN KOREAN!!! I WILL!!!! I WILL or at least I will die trying!

I know that is a really small summer reading list! But it’s a list I feel sure I can manage, and I am excited about reading! I am also going to try to be editing, a book, two short stories, and attend a bible school all at once so, small is good right now.

What is on your list of things to read this summer?

Blessings!
In Christ,
Jessica Greyson
